The year 2021 came to a wonderful close to us here at MathRider. In November we were reviewed by the Old Schoolhouse® magazine’s Homeschool Review Crew.
And we just received their Blue Ribbon Award!
For 2021, the Homeschool Review Crew voted MathRider as their “Favorite Math Supplement” of the year, garnering it the Blue Ribbon for being the best tool in helping kids learn math.
MathRider as the perfect homeschooling tool
According to the Crew, the game incorporates “an enchanting storyline” with the continuous retrieval of math facts. This lets children master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at their own pace.
“Overall, Moms were thrilled that their children liked the program and were learning,” they said. “We know the parents love what you do for Gtheir children, based on the positive comments in their posts!”
“It is super simple getting started with this program,” adds Crew reviewer Jennifer King. “Recommended for ages seven to twelve years old, especially those who love horses. This could be the perfect math game.”
Writer, blogger, and Crew reviewer Linsey Knerl also calls MathRider’s tutoring design “gamification at its finest.”
“It’s incredibly simple,” she says. “My 8-year-old often has problems trying to find the numbers on the keyboard… No time is wasted in trying to ‘control’ the horse or rider. He can focus on math.”
Our heartfelt thanks
The Homeschool Review Crew is a group of homeschooling parents organized by the Old Schoolhouse®, the most respected trade magazine for homeschooling. The Crew regularly reviews educational and homeschooling products with their own children.
Because such hardworking and passionate educators are praising our game, we are absolutely thrilled. We want to thank everyone at the Homeschool Review Crew for giving us this recognition. And we look forward to seeing more children discover MathRider and the joys of math!
