discover your callingIt is very important for us and our children as well to find our true calling in life, because that is the only way for anything we do to have meaning. Knowing and answering our true calling will also help us experience true success. In an article on HuffingtonPost, Agapi Stassinopoulos poses five questions all designed to help you and your children discover your calling.

Five questions that could lead to your true calling in life

In her article, Stassinopoulos challenges readers to ask themselves these five questions:

1. What am I here to learn?
2. What am I here to teach?
3. What am I here to overcome?
4. What am I here to complete?
5. What am I here to express?

Stassinopoulos maintains that our answers to these questions are not set in stone, that they are always ongoing and evolving as we teach and learn different things at various stages in our lives. The important thing is that we answer these questions truthfully.

We live in a world where we are defined almost entirely by the work we do. More often than not, however, we find ourselves moving from one profession to another, and still find our true calling in life elusive. For many people, finding out their true calling in life is never easy. Some even go through their entire lives without ever knowing what they were here on this planet for. Let’s not be one of the latter, so give answering Stassinopoulos’ five questions a go and discover your calling. Share these questions, along with your thoughts on them, with your children too. After all, we want to help our kids as much as we can, and inspiring them to consider finding their own answers as they grow up is one great way of helping them out in life.
